Another chilly start Friday! Don’t forget that heavier jacket heading out the door this morning as temperatures begin in the 30s for most with some freezing wind chills! Areas in NE Ohio will see some lingering showers through the morning, but expect to dry out by lunchtime.

What You Need To Know

  • A touch of frost possible early Friday
  • Skies will mixed Friday with some clouds and sun
  • Temperatures stay on the cool side this weekend
  • Spotty showers possible this weekend, especially Sunday

The rest of the state is looking at a dry Friday ahead skies will be partly sunny with a mix of clouds and sun. Afternoon temperatures are still below average but won’t be as ‘chilly’ as yesterday in the low to upper 50s.

Quiet skies for any plans Friday evening as temperatures drop into the upper 40s to mid 50s. It’ll be a cool evening in Cincinnati for the Cleveland Indians vs the Cincinnati Reds with temperatures falling into the lower 50s. First pitch is at 7:10 pm.

Through the weekend conditions are fairly quiet with a few showers late weekend.

Clouds build for Saturday’s forecast with more cool spring air expected. Highs only in the mid 50s to near 60 during the afternoon. A possible stray shower to the south, but again a lot of the state remains dry during the day.

Slight chance of showers overnight Saturday as lows drop into the 40s, and heading into Sunday a week frontal system approaches bringing spotty rain possible late weekend.

Sunday afternoon and evening time spotty showers are possible especially in mid and southern Ohio with afternoon highs pushing the lower 60s.

Overall our long term pattern is quiet and cool! Next week we’ll have another shot of colder air. Watch for frost potential Monday through Wednesday (April 19-21).

Currently no major warm up expected through the rest of April which means our severe weather chances remain low for the time being as we wrap up the month, but as always stay tune!
