WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Two student athletes from Willoughby South High School were recognized as the Week 2 Scholar Athletes for northeast Ohio.
Sophia Jarc plays volleyball at Willoughby South and has been credited with being a leader on and off the court.
Jarc is in the top 10 in her class and has been called a leader in the school. On the court, she is seen as a selfless player — supportive of her teammates — and a true team player.
Andrew Osagie-Erese plays football for the Rebels and is seen as someone with an ideal attitude.
Osagie-Erese is seen as a leader both on the field and in the classroom. He has had multiple teachers and coaches call him the nicest student in the high school. He’s been called the ultimate team player.
