A few lingering showers are impacting the state this morning, but overall, things are quiet.

However, that won’t remain the case for the primary showbelt, with accumulating lake-effect snow showers ramping up into the evening, with several inches likely by tomorrow morning. 

That continues into Friday, then we’re looking at a drier, but still very cold weekend.
