A hot, humid and somewhat stormy week is in store for Ohio.
Higher heat and humidity levels moved in for the weekend, but the week ahead brings even higher chances that some areas could feel between 92 and 95 degrees. Along with gusty SW winds, the chance of storms increases especially by Tuesday and Wednesday.
Expect muggy mornings and sunny to partly cloudy afternoons, with increasing late-day and early evening chances for scattered storms.
Monday brings a better chance of storms to the western areas of Ohio, while Tuesday through Friday gives the entire state a fair shot at rain.
Severe weather is possible, with gusty winds, hail and downpours expected within any of the storms. While the tornado threat doesn’t look particularly high, we’ll keep on eye on any rotating storms as we track them.
A cold front should start to move in by Friday, which will help to turn off the faucet and bring cooler and drier weather in by next weekend.
