AKRON, Ohio – Akron Children’s Hospital will offer free, drive-thru clinics fpr COVID-19 vaccines over the next three Saturdays.
The hospital will administer the two-dose Pfizer vaccine to adults and children ages 12 and older at Akron Children’s health centers in North Canton, Boston Heights and Mansfield.
Children do not need to be Akron Children’s patients to be eligible to get the vaccine, the hospital said.
“It’s close to home for families in the communities of Mansfield, North Canton, Canton, and Hudson, Stow and Boston Heights. The drive-through format could not be easier, and most important, it’s the most effective way to protect loved ones from the coronavirus,” Dr. Michael Bigham, Akron Children’s chief quality officer, said in a release.
