OHIO — The NFL announced some of the season openers for this fall, and it includes a rematch for one of Ohio’s teams.

The Cleveland Browns will go up against the two-time defending AFC Champions Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 12. Kickoff is at 4:25 p.m. It’ll be a chance for the Browns to redeem themselves after losing to the Chiefs last year, ending the season.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals will welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Paul Brown Stadium on Sept. 12 with a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The rest of the 2021 NFL schedule will be released Wednesday at 8 p.m.

The Browns are coming off their most successful season in decades following a playoff victory over rival Pittsburgh. Cleveland’s playoff run ended with a 22-17 loss to Kansas City in the divisional round.

The Bengals had yet another disappointing season finishing, 4-11-1. Cincinnati was without star rookie quarterback Joe Burrow at the end of the season due to injury.
