  • Good Vending has installed 40 machines around Columbus
  • Each dollar spent is $11 worth of food that can be purchased for the Bishop Griffin Resource Center
  • So far, the company has raised thousands of dollars for charity

Good Vending offers a variety of machines containing snacks, drinks and ice cream. The company even carries a machine just for dog treats. They take care of the installation, filling and maintaining of the machines.

“The only thing the corporation has to worry about is which charity to send the donation to,” said Co-founder Michael Davis. “Ever since day one, we have been able to donate thousands of dollars to local charities.”

The latest Good Vending Machine to be installed is located inside Highpoint on Columbus Commons, a downtown apartment building. With each dollar spent at the machine, $11 worth of food can be purchased for the Bishop Griffin Resource Center Food Pantry.

“You’re giving to us,” said Food Pantry Assistant Manager Nyisha Miller. “And we are taking that donation and giving back to the community to provide non-perishables for families in need.”

Davis said that positive impact is the driving force behind Good Vending, saying their “goal in 2021 is to donate $1 million from revenue generated through our vending machines to local charities.”

Good Vending has been in operation for eight months. In that time they have installed 40 machines throughout the Columbus area.
