We are not seeing any signs in the extended forecast of returning to anything close the record heat we saw last week!

What You Need To Know

  • Lows on Thursday morning will be in the 30s
  • Rain will move into northern Ohio around lunchtime
  • Temperatures will stay below average through the weekend
  • Next week’s temperatures look similar to this week

Lows tonight will be cool in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Highs on Thursday will only be in the upper 40s to middle 50s. We should be somewhere in the upper 50s north to middle 60s south.

Light rain will continue in southern and southeastern Ohio through 7 p.m. tonight.

Thursday will start dry and cool but low pressure over the Great Lakes will bring in showers to northern Ohio around 12 p.m.

These showers will move southeast. With a cold front we may see some graupel mixing in with showers tomorrow.

Graupel is soft hail or snow pellets. It looks like tiny snowballs.

Showers will move out early Friday but we won’t see a warm up.

Highs will stay below average through the weekend. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be in the 50s for most.

We are not seeing any big storm systems this weekend but a weak system may trigger a few showers especially on Sunday.

Columbus Crew SC Thursday

MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew SC will host Real Esteli F.C. Thursday night in Columbus.

A limited number of fans will be there to watch the international match, which is a part of the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League.

Start time is at 8 p.m.

Fans will want to layer up. It will be chilly and we could see some light rain.

The regular season begins this Sunday at 5:30 also at home against the Philadelphia Union.
