Morris is a four-year starting varsity soccer player for the Euclid Panthers. He has served as team captain for the past two years and also runs track in the spring and plays indoor soccer.

Off the field, Morris has over eighty volunteer hours with the Euclid youth soccer organization helping teach younger players the sport he loves.

He’s also a member of the National Honor Society and a number of clubs at Euclid High School.

He plans to go to college for environmental science or environmental biology and hopes to play soccer.

He takes the qualities he learns off the field and translates them on the field.

“Being a good student has taught me discipline and respect and to respect everybody, so I take that onto the field depending on, you know it doesn’t matter if it’s practice or a game I show respect to the coaches, refs and the players especially my team, I try to make sure that they get the respect that they deserve,” said Morris.

McKinney plays volleyball for the Panthers and has been a captain for two years. She also plays on a junior olympic club volleyball team and has been invited to numerous all-star games and showcase events.

Off the court, McKinney is a member of National Honor Society and is in Euclid High School’s career tech program.

McKinney is passionate about service and is involved in the American Liver Foundation walks as well as Kidney Foundation walks and fundraisers.

She attributes a lot of her success to her adamant mother.

“School was always the first thing. Sports didn’t come until I probably hit middle school, so it was academics first always, she always made sure we did our homework, if we didn’t do homework it would just be like all wreck havoc in the house. And our brothers especially, they graduated high school from here, too and like they’re big influences on me and my sister.”

McKinney plans to attend college for forensic psychology and hopes to play volleyball. The athletic director for Euclid High School said both Morris and McKinney will do great things in their futures.
