OHIO — After a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion signaled the court may overturn Roe v. Wade, abortion rights activists expressed condemnation for the possible decision, which could end federal protection of abortion rights and allow individual states to decide whether to restrict or ban abortion.
An event called “Bans off Cleveland with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio” will take place to rally support for abortion access May 14.
Spectrum News 1 spoke with Aileen Day, communications director for Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, to discuss the upcoming rally along with the leaked supreme court draft opinion.
