Rain will slowly end today southwest to northeast. Showers should stay mainly light as low pressure travels from northwest Ohio to northeast Ohio by the afternoon.

What You Need To Know

  • Scattered showers continue today
  • We see brighter skies on Tuesday
  • The coolest day this week will be Thursday

Where we see some clearing and drying first in the west, temperatures will be slightly warmer.

As promised, no 80-degree highs are in this week’s forecast. We will be looking at highs in the 50s and 60s all week.

Highs today will be near normal in the 60s but a few upper 50s in northern Ohio are possible where clouds and rain will persist longer.

We get into more sunshine on Tuesday with slightly warmer temperatures.

Another low pressure system over the Great Lakes will bring in some scattered rain on Wednesday.

Models are not in agreement about weekend rain but we could see some scattered showers especially on Saturday.

Temperatures will be in the lower 60s this coming weekend.

Thursday cooldown

Last Thursday we saw a high of 78 degrees in Columbus.

Average highs for this time of year are in the lower 60s.

This Thursday will be the coolest day of the week with highs only in the 50s.

That’s a big change from last week!
