DAYTON, Ohio – More than 12,000 customers are still without power in the Dayton area after Friday night’s storm.

Over 7,000 AES Ohio, formerly Dayton Power & Light, were still without power as of 2:30 p.m. Saturday. And more than 5,200 Duke Energy customers were still without power. First Energy did not report any power outages in the Dayton area.

More rounds of storms are likely this weekend, according to Spectrum News 1 meteorologists.

The active weather is expected to continue through Father’s Day, according to Spectrum News 1 meteorologists.
